Comprehensive Plan & Land Use Code Update

Land Development and Subdivision Code Update:

The Land Development Code (LDC) is one of the main implementation tools of the Comprehensive Plan. In their 2023 annual budget, the Town Council appropriated funds for this code update at an opportune time to be informed by the Comprehensive Plan Update that will precede it.  In November of 2023, the Town was also awarded another $100,000 from the State's Strong Communities Planning Grant to help fund the project.

The project will be advertised in a Request for Proposals with more information to be provided on our Business webpage (for all advertisements for bids, proposals, etc.).
