Fall Clean Up Days
TOWN OF HUDSON’S
FALL 2010
RESIDENTIAL CLEAN-UP DAYS
DUMPSTERS WILL BE LOCATED AT THE TOWN’S WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT,
HIGHWAY 52 & HICKORY STREET
Friday, September 24th - 8 am to 4 pm
Saturday, September 25th - 8 am to 6 pm
Tires from cars and light trucks will be accepted
with the following charges applied:
$4 per tire on the rim; and $2 per tire without the rim.
Large truck or tractor tires will NOT be accepted.
The Weld County Household Hazardous Waste Program will be accepting the following items this year:
Painting Supplies ( latex or oil based paint, spray paint, stripper, thinners, wood stains, brushes, rollers, pans, acids, Xylene, and acetone)
Cleaning & Laundry Supplies (polishes, rug cleaner, dry cleaning supplies, moth balls & flakes, spot remover, ammonia, chorine bleach, drain openers, oven, tub & tile cleaners)
Garden Supplies ( Insecticides, week killer, rat / mouse / gopher poison)
Building & Woodworking supplies (caulks, cements, fluorescnet lamps with ballasts & tubes, wood preservatives)
Hobby & Pet Supplies
Automotive Supplies
Other Products (aerosol cans, flea powder, shoe dye / polish, batteries, fire extinguishers, small propane tanks, helium tanks)
All cans, bottles, and liquid containers will have to be labeled and must be capped or the item will not be accepted.
Appliances will also be accepted with a $35 Freon and oil recovery charge per appliance. All other appliances will be accepted for no additional charge.
Computers and other electronic recyclables will also be collected with the following charges applied: $5 per computer monitor; $5 to have hard drive destroyed; and $20 per TV.

Special Note: If you need to dump tree branches and brush prior to the Fall Clean-up Event please coordinate your drop off with the Public Works Department by contacting Town Hall at 303-536-9311
Clean-up days are a service provided exclusively to the citizens of the Town of Hudson. You will need a valid ID with a Hudson Water Bill or Utility Bill (other forms accepted; must have name and physical address). You will not be allowed to dump without one. Once items are brought to the lagoon, they must stay at the lagoon. No exceptions allowed.
