NOTICE OF TOWN ELECTION

The Town of Hudson Regular Election will be conducted by Mail-Ballot. The mail ballots will be mailed to registered voters March 15, 2010 through March 18, 2010.


Voters may return the ballots by mail or deliver to the Hudson Town Hall. The ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at the Hudson Town Hall, 557 Ash Street, Hudson, Weld County, Colorado. The Hudson Town Hall will serve as a ballot drop-off location and will be open on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 between the hours of seven o'clock a.m. and seven o'clock p.m. (7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.) at the Town Hall, 557 Ash Street, Hudson, Weld County, Colorado.

Town Officers to be elected are:

One (1) Mayor – Four year term
Three (3) Trustee - Four year term
One (1) Trustee – Two year term


Nomination petitions are available at the Town Hall as of Friday, February 12, 2010, petition circulation beginning Monday, February 15, 2010. The last day nomination petitions for the Town Election may be filed with the Town Clerk is Friday, March 5, 2010 until 5:00 p.m.


Each registered elector signing a nomination petition MUST include his/her STREET ADDRESS and signature. A registered elector may NOT sign more than one(1) nomination petition for each separate office to be filled; i.e. four(4) for Trustee. Nomination petitions must be signed by at least 10 registered voters residing within the Town of Hudson limits.


The last day to register to vote in the Town Election is Monday, March 8, 2008.
