MAYOR & BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Town is governed by a board consisting of six trustees and a mayor selected by the qualified electors of the town. The mayor and trustees serve four year terms with three members serving alternate terms. The trustees shall normally meet twice per month to conduct town business. Town business includes the introduction and passage of town ordinances and resolutions for the preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare. The Town Board also sets the goals and objectives for the community through adoption of the annual operating budget and through directives given to the Town Administrator.
