Annual Rabies Clinic
Date:
Sat, 2010-04-24 08:00 - 12:00
The Town of Hudson will be holding its Annual Rabies Clinic, Saturday, April 24th between the hours of 8am and 12pm. As in past years the town's Public Works Shop, located at the northwest corner of 5th Avenue and Cherry Street, will host the clinic.
Costs for this year's clinic are as follows:
$10.00 - Rabies Vaccine (other vaccinations are available for an extra charge)
$3.00 - Town License (Tag) for neutered or spayed animals
$10.00 - Town License (Tag) for non-fixed animals
If your pet received a 3-year vaccine, you will still need to bring your vaccination paperwork to the clinic to receive your town tags.
Animal Control encourages responsible pet ownership. A family pet's health and welfare should be of primary concern when choosing to own a pet. Cats and dogs allowed to roam freely throughout town can create potential safety and nuisance issues among neighbors. Should your pet be picked up as a stray animal by town staff, you will need to provide proof of current rabies vaccination and town tags. Without those documents, a town citation and fine will be issued to the pet's owner.
