The Northeast-East Central Colorado Small Business Development Center is part of the Association of Small Business Development Centers and works in partnership with the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, Colorado’s Institution of Higher Education, and local development organizations. It is hosted by the Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado and receives funding, in part, from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Our team works to grow the small business community by providing free and low-cost business services to emerging and existing entrepreneurs in Northeastern Colorado.  Small businesses have access to an abundance of resources and developmental assistance throughout business start-up and growth. On a local level, industry professionals also lend their time and expertise to the program and its clients by participating on the center’s Advisory Board and/or Volunteer Counseling Program.  The Northeast-East Central Colorado SBDC is continually working to develop its resources and small business services. Mission: To foster successful start-up of new businesses as well as growth and development of new and existing businesses through services provided.

Vision: To be the resource center for emerging and existing entrepreneurs by providing free business counseling and assistance.
